Noise from motor of Kawasaki U-250


When engine start, this motor has big rattle noise and I found where noise from....

Supercharger pully rubber damper were all came off and this is cause of rattle noise.

Unfortunately,,,,,, Yamaha GP800R

Dismantled rear cylinder

Connectiong rod has too much free play and looks like big end bearing is missing. See bottom picture that is normal looking of big end bearing. This is the cause of pison top position too low at TDC.

Normally you can see roller bearings and cage of bearings.

This is for flushing connector as someone changed to garden hose connector. Also with this condition always water leak from this connector when ski run on a water, in short must need disconnect this gray joint.  This customer didn't know about this things since he bought this ski until I asked him. What happend this ski's motor?  Motor must be suck spray of water from air box and crank shaft bearing been rust and then bearing didn't turn well or seized as get hot and melt by frictional heat.
So now this motor needs big surgery,,,,,,

Unfortunately,,,,,, Yamaha GP800R

This customer is first own of Jet ski this GP800R but only 4 or 5 ride since he bought now this motor is damaged as rear cylinder has low compression. Removed exhaust sys and cylinder head,,,,,,,
I thought just piston is damaged but piston is looks not too bad and no scratch mark around cylinder sleeve. Oh boy! I thought, Did I fuck up? but compression was too low for sure and crank shaft turn feeling is funny too.
I found piston top position is too low when TDC. This is cause of low compression.

Sea Doo oil filter cap again,,,,

This customer's Sea Doo RXP-X 2008model just used 38hr but sitting in garage last 2year as not use. Paint of motor damaged by corrosion and also oil filter cap was stuck,,,,,
 I struggled to remove cap and I almost give up after spent 15 min then I put WD-40 around cap. After a little while I tried again then cap was slowly came off and finally I did it!

This customer never rinse and spray after ride becasue damaged by corrosion of back of motor
It was so hard to remove oil cap becasue corrosion.

This Super jet engine mounts replaced about 2years ago but they were all damaged already,,,,,

Peel off from base

 Top cap peel off from rubber.

New item for dispose of oil filter

 We get oil filter cutter for environment.

Set oil filter

 Just turn it!

 Done,

Now steel body go to recycle,

Filter will soak to cleaner and dispose to bin.
LH after soak, RH before soak.

Service Kawasaki STX-15F

We check air intake box when service. This time had surprise things happened.

Rag was sitting insde,,,,,
This is replicate of  before things happen.
Customer covered in air intake mouth by rag for avoid to water get into when rinse engine room but he forgot to remove this rag and stated engine.

YPVS valves fitted up side down of YAMAHA XL1200 Lim

This ski came to my shop for diagnose lack of engine power. We found few cause of problem. At first YPVS valves problem.

This motor had been top rebuild by this customer.

They fitted valves up side down.

This is correct way to fit.

 Few exhaust gaskets didn't replace as re-used because water leaked to exhaust and damaged pistons.
This metal gasket are not re-useable, some people confuse as it can be re-use.  Gasket are have to replace.

Brand new pistons are damaged,,,,,,,

Problem of RIVA EFI control unit for GP1300R

This control unit fitted GP1300R as ski damaged body repoted few days ago. Then I disconnected all wire harness and found problem.

This unit assembled with couplers but they didn't fit blind plug for one of empty position.

Worst case water or moisture get through inside of coupler and damaged or corrode terminals.  This may occur to won't engine start or lost power because this harness are all sensors line.
This pictures are other customers GP1300R as fitted RIVA EFI control unit. This couplers had no blind plugs too and damaged most terminals as ski runs bad.

If your GP1300R fitted this control unit better to check and if coupler won't come off that mean terminals are corroded.

Ouch! damaged body of GP1300R by KARATE-Chop

This GP1300R is damaged side of deck.
When customer fell from ski he chopped deck and ski damaged like a picture and his arm was broken,,,,,, Ouch!
View damage from engine room.
Lift motor and out . Now ready to go body repair shop.
