Rebuild motor GP1200

Todays job was engine rebuild of GP1200.

Today is last day of Sep, it was so much busy this month as beginning of season.

It's 3 month left this year so getting close to Chrismas!

Every year very very busy in Dec for service and repair, please bring your ski as do action now for your holiday to use your jet ski. It's not too early so please call us ASAP.

Oil filter won't come off Kawasaki 15F

This 15F customer didn't service over 1 year and it had rust and corrosion around motor.
Oil filter of this motor was rusted and didn't come off so easy. I used filter wrench first but just slipped then I used big plyers but oil filter just squashed and didin't come off. Oh, my god!
There are very narrow space because oil filter is locate under the intake manifold. Finally I removed inatake manifold and came off oil filter.

Please change oil filter before rust and don't fit too tight.

Locate just under intake manifold and very hard to access hand and tools.

Spark problem of 750 SX-i KAWASAKI

This ski was runs bad also engine sound was not good and very wrough idling.
However this ski's problem was just spark plugs.

Carby service of XLT1200, 2

Dismantled carby assy, there were so bad condition inside of body damaged by corrosion.
This ski must be water inside of fuel tank and carby suck this water also this ski was sitting for long time
that because damaged more.

Carby service of XLT1200

I hate carby service of  XLT1200 and GP1200R because it takes too much time to remove and fit carbys.
It's too late to complaint to designer of Yamaha which this motor is bad design for carby service and settings
becasue carbys locate under the exhaust sys.

It's takes about 1.5hr to remove carby assy,  see above pic only left exhaust manifold around short block motor and takes about 2 or 2.5hr to all put back together. Inshort takes about 4hr to remove and refit carby assy, yes still need to another 3 to 4 hr for service carbys.

It was so busy day today.
Pick up 2 of ski to Paradise Point boat ramp (2 trip) for repair and 2 of 4 stroke ski's service,,,

By the way customer of  next door's he wear very nice shirt.
When I saw that this morning I really laughed because that shirt printed SHIZUOKA on a back of shirt.
SHIZUOKA is name of my home town in JAPAN but he didn't know what SHIZUOKA mean.
I asked him to where did you get? He said I bought this shopping center in Gold Coast.
I never thought that I will see like a that shirt which printed SHIZUOKA also that selling in Australia.

This is not so funny news to guys but it was so funny news for me.

Did you know SHIZUOKA is also home town of YAMAHA, SUZUKI and HONDA.

Japanese Jet ski magazine Sep issue

Sorry guys! I do not much up date my blog now.

I received this magazine from Japan yesterday but I have no time to read,,,

because to busy my work shop. I have a few space for next week job if you  need to service or repair better to booking hurry. Oh boy, already 22:30 I'm go home, see ya!

Kawasaki STX1100 broken impeller shaft

This customer said ski loosed power and heard noise.

Jet pump unit removed from ski but something is wrong????

Oh, dear. impeller shaft was broken.

This won't do as any good!

Call out job

Todays job was call out job to customers house.
2 of ski were sitting for long time and engine didn't start.
Both ski are now engine start but 1 ski need carby service and the other one water leak from exhaust pipe damaged by corrosion so need to replace body of pipe.

Kick off season !

Since I came back to Australia my work shop is busy,busy,busy everyday.
Not much time to up date my this blog.

Today I show pictures which engine won`t turn because impeller was locked by impeller housing been swollen. Like a this problem is very common problem begining of season.

Famous local big wave surfer come to shop

This morning James come to my work shop for service his jet skis who are famous big wave surfer live in Gold Coast.
He has been to Hawaii and California for big wave surfing.

Jet ski is very important equipment for them for towing and assist to big wave also rescue to surfer.
Doctor always lookafter many towing surfers jet skis.
